Who we are
Creative Computer Education has been teaching in this part of Tamil Nadu since 2003. It runs under the Annai Tharasa Education Trust (Mother Terasa Educational & Charitable Trust), is ISO 9001:2015 certified and is a TNGTE approved centre — which is what allows students to be prepared for and entered into the Government Technical Examinations conducted by the Department of Technical Education.
The centre is run by M. Veerapandiyan — MBA (Systems), TTC, COA, PGDCA — who also authors the COA theory and practical books the centre publishes and that students across the state study from.
Where we teach
There are two centres. The Puducherry centre is at 1st Floor, Fathima Complex, Main Road, Thirukkanur, Puducherry 605501, serving Thirukkanur, Vettukkadu, Kozhipuiyur and the surrounding villages — see the Thirukkanur centre page. Every course also runs online, which matters here: a student in a village with no nearby institute can sit the same government examination as one in a city, and that is most of why the online batches exist.
What we teach
The main course is COA — Computer on Office Automation, the Government Technical Examination certificate that Tamil Nadu clerical and data entry posts ask for. Alongside it we teach Tally Prime with GST for accounting work, Tamil and English typewriting at Junior and Senior Grade, and shorthand in both languages. Fees for every course are published on the fees page.
Teaching is bilingual. Books, model papers and classes are available in Tamil and English, because the examination itself can be taken in either — and for most students here, being taught in Tamil is the difference between following the material and memorising it.
What we publish
The centre writes its own COA theory and practical books, model question papers and a one mark question bank, updated to the syllabus in force. Much of it is free to download — the official syllabus, model papers and question banks, 1,000 practical exercises, and Tamil99 keyboard software — from the downloads page, with no signup required. Printed books are listed under COA books and study material.
